The musical-comedy All That Trash features
the characters: "Professor Mark" and "Regular Guy
Obediah". Faced with the problems of wasted natural resources
and too much garbage, The Professor helps Obediah discover solutions
such as reducing, reusing, recycling, and rethinking the future.
The performers use song, humor, and audience participation to communicate
and demonstrate concepts about conservation and science.
"Once again, another great performance!
It taught students to be aware of the many ways they can help with
recycling. Students were engaged and enjoyed the musical messages."
- 2nd Grade Teacher, Fryberger Elem. School, Westminster,
Calif.
"You two are great performers.
I personally cause a lot of trash. I have been affected by your
show and will make an effort to reduce."
- Patti Kim, 5th grade teacher, McKinley School,
San Gabriel, Calif.

All That Trash supports several of the California
State Department of Education science content standards for grades
K-6. In a fun way, students will learn
- Resources from Earth that are used in everyday life and understand
that many resources can be conserved.
- Decomposers, including many fungi, insects, and microorganisms,
recycle matter from dead plants and animals.
- The natural origin of the materials used to make common objects.
- Living things cause changes in the environment in which they
live: some of these changes are detrimental to the organism or
other organisms, and some are beneficial.
Appropriate for grades K-6.
